What a beautiful day for fencing. We took our training outdoors again, Joy did the warm up routine while Coach Kurt worked on parries with our newer members. To celebrate World Fencing Day and share our wonderful sport, we had a visit from Ytannia Wiggins, Chairwoman Women in Sport Commision of the Barbados Olympic Association. Ytannia learnt how to hold the Epee under careful instruction by Coah Kurt. Afterwards, Joy showed Ytannia the on guard position. Thanks Ytannia for being such a brilliant student.
