The FIE CMI Epee Training Camp has been held in Beijing,China from Nov.1 to 15. 2016. There are altogether 14 fencers from 13 Asian countries and 8 Chinese fencers participated in the camp. The main coach of the camp is Mr.Levavasseur Daniel, Ms.ZHANG Xuegong has been working as the coach assistant of the camp.
Everyday’s training includes warming up,
fondamental, poules, individual lessons, competitions and usually ends with
stretching, flexibility and abdominal. After 2 weeks of training, the fencers
have found themselves big improvement especially in technique area through the
training. The camp also gave the fencers an opportunity to find friends who
have the same goal and could encourage each other when there be
difficulties.
The fencers were arranged cultural visit
for 3 days during weekends.They have visited the Great Wall, the Forbidden
City, the Water Cube, the Beijing bird's nest, the Summer Palace, the Temple of
Heaven as well as the very traditional Hutong. The cultural visit is not only a
way to let the fencers know more about Chinese culture, is also a way for them
to have further communication with each other.
