The competition dates for men will be 5 & 6 December while the competition dates for women epeeists will be 6 & 7 December 2014. The official venues will welcome representatives from 47 countries, including approximately 300 athletes and a total of 100 people, including Coaches and Officials, from outside Qatar. The competition will be held at the Aspire Dome at Khalifa Sports City and the finals will be held at the Gate Mall / Salam International.
With regards to the accommodation, the Plaza Inn, Royal Riviera and Coral will be the official hotels for the Fencing Grand Prix in Doha.
A shuttle service will be provided for all athletes and officials to and from Hamad International Airport, the three official Hotels, the Aspire Dome and the Gate Mall.
The Qatar sponsors, who will be supporting the Fencing Grand Prix in Doha, will be the main sponsor “Gate Mall/ Salam International” and Qatar Airways.
