The signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Imabetsu Town, in the Aomori prefecture, Japan and the Fencing Association of Mongolia was held in Imabetsu, Japan.
The delegation from the Fencing Association of Mongolia , led by Vice President Ganpurev Lkhagva, attended the ceremony to mark the signing, which aims to increase cooperation between two sides in the build-up to the “Tokyo 2020” Olympics in five years time. The Mayor of Imabetsu Town, Yoshiharu Abe, was also in attendance, as were other distinguished guests from Imabetsu town and the Aomori prefecture.
The delegates from the Fencing Association of Mongolia also paid a courtesy call to Mr Shingo Mimura, Governor.
The Fencing Association of Mongolia successfully hosted the Asian U23 Championships and the FCA General Assembly last month.
